We’re continuing to receive reports of fraudulent text messages claiming to be from Accentra Credit Union.

Most recently, scammers are sending texts stating there is a $1,401 charge at Target and directing recipients to click a suspicious link. Last week, similar messages referenced charges from Best Buy.

These messages are scams.

Please remember:

• Accentra Credit Union will never text you asking for card numbers, login credentials, or personal information

• We will never ask you to click a link to verify a charge

If you receive one of these messages:

• Do not click the link

• Do not respond or share information

• Delete the message

• Call us directly at 800-533-0448 if you have concerns
